An Autumn Inspired BoHo Wedding in Hutto, Texas with Butterscotch Details
I first met Christine, a few years ago, when she was a bridesmaid in her brother Robin’s wedding. Imagine how lucky I felt when I got the call that she was getting married, and wanted my help planning her autumn inspired wedding. Christine said, “Helayne was the wedding planner for my brother’s wedding and when it was my turn, I knew right away I wanted to use her services.”
As a corporate event planner, Christine is conscientious, organized, and resourceful. Although she’s certainly experienced enough to plan her own wedding, she’s also savvy enough to know why having a great wedding planner is so important. She and Logan needed someone they could trust to make sure all their plans were seamlessly implemented on their wedding day. Entrusting the fulltime management of details to me helped them avoid the headaches, and added stress that inevitably accompanies the planning process.
Christine and Logan had all the large To Do’s like booking their vendors and creating their floor plan covered. However, contemplating the finer details like remembering when to mail their invitations, managing their seating arrangements, and keeping the timeline tight and efficient were elements they knew they’d need help with. Having the additional guidance and an experienced sounding board for their ideas made my Event Management services the perfect fit for their planning journey.
During our visits we’d chat about their progress on their structured Task List, and they were always a step ahead. We also kept in touch with frequent emails in case they had questions or needed suggestions. For example, when Christine was trying to decide where she and Logan wanted to sit during their reception, we discussed the various options and the associated pros & cons to help her make the best decision for their wedding vision. No matter the level of service, it’s imperative that all my clients know they’ll get the support they need with any questions or concerns. Christine said, “Helayne is professional, sharp, one step ahead, and made the lead up and wedding day a seamless process.”
On wedding day, Christine had a First Look with the two most important men in her life. Her future husband, Logan, and her adoring father, Robin. Incorporating a First Look into your wedding day is a fabulous time saver. It allows you to truly soak in the intimacy of seeing each other before you walk down the aisle without feeling rushed or self-conscious that everyone’s watching. It also lets you capture the photos you’ve been dreaming of before your ceremony which frees you up to celebrate with your guests during cocktail hour.
Having a church ceremony where they could pledge their love to each other before God and their families was very important to Christine and Logan. Luckily, they found the perfect church only a short distance from their dream wedding venue One Eleven East in Hutto, Texas.
Once they were pronounced husband and wife, guests headed over to One Eleven East to get the party started. Upon arrival, they were immediately captivated by this historic urban loft space nestled within the storefronts of downtown Hutto, Texas. It was the ideal blank canvas for Logan and Christine’s autumn inspired wedding with butterscotch details.
Working with this incredible family has truly been a gift! Special “thank you!” to Sarah Lord Photography for these incredible photos.
